Good Friday, along with Christmas and Easter, is the most important day of the Christian calendar, when we remember the vicarious death of Christ on our behalf.

This year, we are joining with Christ Church at the Prayerbook Cross in Golden Gate Park for a Good Friday Service. There will also be a guided meditation through the Stations of the Cross on the way up to the service.

The Stations of the Cross can be viewed starting at 5:00pm, starting here. The hour-long service will begin at the top of the hill at 6:00pm, followed by light refreshments at the Blue Heron Lake Picnic Area.

If you’re driving, park on Transverse Drive and walk east on JFK towards the cross.
